FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

INCAI is a formal International Network of Catholic Astronomical Institutions. Among the Network activities, we are organizing annual workshops on research in Astronomy. The First INCAI Workshop was held at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2011. The Second INCAI Workshop was held last year at the Catholic University of America, Washington, in 2012.



This is the first announcement for the Third INCAI Workshop, that is going to be held at the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile, in 19-24 August 2013. The theme of the III INCAI Workshop is Exploring the Nature of the Evolving Universe. The scope of the workshop is to discuss evolution in the Universe at all scales, from the formation and evolution of planets, stars and galaxies to the Big Bang. There will be contributed talks and posters.

DEADLINE:  The deadline for the submission of abstracts is MAY 24.  If you intend to present a poster or talk, please fill in the on-line registration form at Registration page.

FEES: There will be registration fee for this meeting (USD100). Students fee (USD45). Participants not presenting a talk or poster are welcome, and should also register in advance. There will be a Workshop dinner.

HOUSING: We will be able to offer housing at reasonable prices for a limited number of students. If you would like to sign up for that, include that in your email with your abstract.
